Lonesome Liz Mojo Art is inspired in part by her field studies in Folk Religion, from Appalachia to East New York. A Religious Studies and Philosophy Major at Barton College and Western Kentucky University, Liz studied with Gnostic scholar and Nag Hammadi translator Roger Bullard. She later began Coptic at Union Theological Seminary with James Brasher, another Nag Hammadi translator. Liz also studied Art History at Barton College, with special focus on Medieval and Renaissance Art.
